It all started with a Skull and an Octopus………….
What began as a cool design with vibrant colors for a t-shirt somehow took on a life of its own and evolved into a full deck of playing cards! What’s even cooler about this deck is that it was designed with the help of two awesome communities, r/Octopus and r/Pirates on Reddit. The skull and his eight tentacled friend (Bert…lets just call him Bert) was so well received in these communities that together we created Dark Tides. We didn’t want to design this deck with what we assumed our buyers would like, we wanted to give them exactly what they wanted. We began our journey by posting these cards regularly in different communities and forums, listened to the suggestions and input given, gathered all of the feedback and redesigned the cards until we got it right! We would like to thank every single individual that helped us every step of the way in bringing this deck to life. Thank you to Jason from The Seers Playing Cards for helping us with these amazing renders. We sincerely hope that you all enjoy these cards just as much as we do. Now on to the fun stuff!
